Shadow Intelligence

Journey Back To Self

A Journey Into the Shadow - All Are Welcome.

We invite you to join a mixed circle—an open, inclusive space for anyone ready to look deeply within. Together, we’ll explore the parts of ourselves that may be holding us back—the habits, patterns, or beliefs that block us from living in our fullest truth. Held in a safely facilitated group container, this is a powerful opportunity to engage in shadow work: to meet the hidden, repressed, or denied parts of ourselves with compassion and courage. In this deeply held circle, you won’t be alone. We’ll walk this path together. The process will be both transformative and awakening. Through shared group work and guided facilitation, each person will have the chance to reconnect with their truth and begin to release what no longer serves them. It is my deepest intention that you leave this circle feeling lighter, more whole, and more you than when you arrived.

My name is James Donovan. I come from a strong foundation in men’s work, with years of experience creating safe, transformative spaces—both one-on-one and in group settings. I travel extensively, putting these skills into practice at gatherings, retreats, and intentional communities around the world. At the core of my work is a deep commitment to healing—both within myself and in those I serve. My life’s mission is to pass on, freely and openly, the tools and wisdom I’ve received, supporting others in their journey toward positive change and inner integration. Much of my approach is rooted in the teachings of Carl Jung, particularly his theory of the shadow—the parts of ourselves we’ve denied, hidden, or repressed. In this work, we compassionately bring these unconscious aspects into the light, disentangling the protective mechanisms we’ve developed along the way. It’s a courageous process of reclaiming wholeness. I’ve been immersed in this path for many years and have had the privilege of learning from some of the most respected facilitators and teachers in the field. My intention is always to meet people where they are—with presence, humility, and deep respect.
