A daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother, Annetta's journey into Earth wisdom and sacred practices began long before her work as a fashion designer. Living and working between London and Bali, her creative path as a designer was intertwined with an inner yearning for deeper connection. But in 2014, a profound awakening began, leading her to explore the sacred teachings of Indigenous cultures and shamanic practices. Her spiritual path was ignited by an immersion in medicinal plant wisdom and Indigenous healing traditions. This journey took her across the globe—from Mexico, where she connected with the Maya and Wixarika peoples, to Colombia, where she encountered the Cofan Tribe. Eventually, she found herself deep within the Lakota traditions, learning the ways of the Medicine Wheel, the Sun Dance, Vision Quest, and Inipi ceremonies. These teachings were a turning point, unfolding a deeper understanding of life’s sacredness and the interconnectedness of all things. As a first step in embodying her mission, Annetta became an ambassador for Indigenous art. Her passion was so strong that she saw how her design skills could help Indigenous communities preserve and share their artistry. Using her expertise, she became a bridge, empowering these communities to safeguard their cultural heritage through the art they create. This work became a way for Annetta to awaken sacred activism, giving back to the communities she had learned from. It was through this inspiration that she founded Native Spirit Thread, a project dedicated to supporting and showcasing Indigenous craftsmanship while raising awareness of their importance in the modern world. During her travels, including a life-changing journey to Nepal, Annetta discovered the profound power of meditation and sound healing. The resonance she felt with shamanic sound was so intense that it planted the seed for a new direction in her life. Shamanic music entered her soul, and soon, Annetta began a dedicated study of sound medicine, using sacred instruments like drums, singing bowls, gongs, and rattles. These tools became essential to her practice, leading her to create personal rituals and ceremonies that connected her more deeply with the earth, spirit, and herself. By 2017, her focus expanded, and she embraced her role as a facilitator of sound healing and energy work. With a mission to help others restore balance, release energy blockages, and reconnect with their vitality, Annetta now offers sound healing sessions, rituals, and unity circles. Her work integrates the timeless wisdom of Indigenous traditions with holistic practices, including the seven elements of the Circle of Life, somatic movement, and chakra harmonization. As of 2025, Annetta’s focus remains deeply rooted in representing Indigenous artistry and sharing Indigenous wisdom through teachings, talks, and ceremonial guidance. She supports people on their healing journeys by integrating sound medicine science with breathwork, nature immersion (forest/ nature bathing), and Earth-based ritual practices. Her approach fosters spiritual connection, nervous system regulation, and emotional healing, all while honoring the sacred elements and rhythms of nature. Annetta’s mission is to empower others on their own journey of self-healing and spiritual growth while honoring the wisdom and artistry of Indigenous cultures. Through the use of sound medicine, nature connection, and transformative rituals, she creates spaces where people can come together in unity and purpose, reconnecting to both themselves and the earth, in a sacred way.
